Parcours
change of parcours
87 km / 125 km
You can still decide during the ride for one or another.
This is also valid for the racing category. The timing system will prepare classification based on the parcours that has effectively been ridden.
Attention: for the Gran-Fondo-125-Classification you need to pass the passage-control at the Sciernes-Picaz-Loop. If this passage has not been registered you will automatically be classified for the 87 km parcours (even if you might have passed the 3rd timed section).

Signposting
Attention: no Danger warnings!!!
On the various parcours you will find dangerous situations all over, like gravel sections, potholes, dirt, roadworks and so on. Some of these are even unexpectedly behind corners, in dark wood sections, fast descents or similar.
NONE OF THESE DANGERS WILL BE MARKED!!!
It is in the full personal responsibility of every single participant to be always prepared for dangerous situations and to match the speed to circumstances.
We remind you that the roads are NOT CLOSED. You might always meet other road users ... even for example huge tractors behind corners in fast downhill passages on narrow roads.

Final classifiaction
(Racing category)
Final classification is based on the ridden times in the timed sections. The times of the 2 sections (87 km parcours) respectively 3 sections (Grand Fondo 125 km) are cumulated. Winner is the lowest total time.
Start of the timed section is rolling and automatic. You DON'T HAVE TO STOP on the startline and there will be nobody to control.
Timing on the second. Identical times will be classified ex-aequo.
There will be seperate final classification each for the 87km parcours and the Grand Fondo 125 km. But there are NO CLASSES (age etc.).
Final classification to be published AFTER CLOSURE of timed sections.
Total riding time from start to finish will NOT BE TAKEN, NOR CLASSIFIED. So you better enjoy your rides, the great views and the catering stations.
